Five early offers for Jersey RB

Atco (N.J.) Winslow Township running back Shonn Green already has offers from five of his six favorite schools. So who does he favor?
"I have offers from Iowa, Rutgers, Clemson, Wisconsin and Syracuse," said the 5-foot-11, 190-pounder who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds. "“Oregon told me that they were very interested and that they plan on offering. It’s not close to home, but I want to look at all my options. I don't really have a favorite, I know I'll need to take at least four official visits."

Green, who ran for 1,600 yards on 246 carries with 18 touchdowns as a junior, has quick feet and combines speed and power with excellent vision. What makes him even more attractive to recruiters is his athleticism and the ability to play various positions in college.
“All of the schools are recruiting me as a running back and that’s where I would like to play," he said. "But I could play cornerback or safety or wideout. I could play anywhere."
Shonn is considered one of the top running backs in New Jersey for the 2004 recruiting year and should expect more than a dozen offers before the end of the season.
“Before I make any decision as far as choosing a school I need to weigh all my options and would like to see other parts of the country.”
