Fisher worrying about football first
Richardson (Texas) Pearce running back Parrish Fisher has kept busy taking phone calls when he's not running up and down the football field.
"There have been a lot of calls," the 5-foot-9, 204-pound Fisher said. "Iowa, Kansas State, Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, Arizona and Iowa State have called recently. I kind of enjoy talking with the coaches and hearing what they have to say.

"No schools are really out in front of any others. I'm excited about all of these schools and what they have to offer me as far as football and education. I just need to keep getting better to make sure all of my options are there when we're done."
While Fisher has scholarship offers from the above list of schools in addition to others, he has yet to line up any official visits.
"Not yet," the three-star rated running back said. "I haven't set any up. Some of them are talking about it already, but nothing set at this time. I’m trying not to worry too much about it. We'll get those lined up probably after we're done this fall."
Fisher has helped lead his team to a 3-0 record on the season.
"We have been playing well," he said. "I have run for 547 yards and five touchdowns so far. I have been fortunate for things to work the way they have. But, we'll keep working hard and hopefully we can keep this up."
