Fisher takes two visits

One of the more intriguing quarterback prospects in the Mid-Atlantic region is Ian Fisher of Brunswick (Md.). At 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds, Fisher is gaining plenty of interest, and has also stayed busy by taking several visits.
"Recruiting is great," said Fisher. "We went to Duke, Rutgers a few weekends ago and I just talked to N.C. State on the phone."

With Duke being his most recent visit, Fisher gave his thoughts on the experience.
"It was great," he said. "I had a lot of interaction with Coach Roper and Coach Cutcliffe. It was pretty cool."
Fisher also gave some insight on his visit to Rutgers.
"Rutgers was good too," said Fisher. "I didn't get to talk to the coaches much, because of how many people were there, but everything else was amazing. The facilities, the program, everything."
Two more visits are scheduled for Fisher this spring.
"Right now I'm going to Duke and N.C. State again when spring practice starts, and that's it for now," said Fisher. "More junior days should come up though."
Another stop on Fisher's tour this winter and spring will be the NUC/Rivals.com Five Star Showcase, which will take place on March 12th in New Jersey. He discussed what he hopes to prove at the event.
"I want to prove that I can play quarterback in college," said Fisher. "People talk about me having to move to tight end at the next level, but my plan is to practice so hard and get so good at quarterback, that they won't have any desire to move me."
