Fisher plans visits, claims favorite

Three-star cornerback Lorenzo Fisher is looking to take a few visits in the coming weeks. The Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate Academy prospect has three schools in mind for trips and claims one is sticking out at this time.
"I'm trying to visit Buffalo on August 1st, I'm trying to find a way there," he said. "I'm supposed to go to North Carolina on July 22nd.

"I'm trying to find a way to Rutgers. I plan to go with Malcolm Crockett whenever he goes. I'm trying to visit there before the end of the summer."
Fisher maintains that Rutgers stands out at this time.
"I really want to go there," he said. "They want me to come down there and I was supposed to for a camp, but I had a doctor's visit so that got all messed up. Now I plan to come when Malcolm comes.
"I really have liked that school since I was little. I'm trying to get down there. Rutgers has always been one of my favorite schools. I like Coach Melvin, we talk on the phone and they are telling me good stuff. They have always been one of my favorite schools with Maryland."
Fisher isn't hearing as much from the Terrapins recently.
In the meantime, the corner holds four offers from Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, New Mexico and Temple. He is also receiving interest from NC State and Marshall.
With a handful of offers, what does the 5-foot-11, 170-pounder looking for in a school?
"They have to have my major, that's my top thing," he said. "I'm looking at business marketing. I'm also looking at how well I have a chance to play and whether I'll go up there and automatically bench or if there is an opportunity to play my first year."
