Fisher looking outside Lone Star State

Richardson (Texas) Pearce running back Parrish Fisher continues to favor schools outside the Lone Star State.
“I’ve got several schools I am looking at,” the 5-foot-10, 204-pound Fisher said. “All of them are outside the state. I’m looking that direction.”

Those schools include Iowa, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Kansas State, Arizona and Boston College.
“Iowa and Iowa State have been recruiting me for a while,” he said. “They’ve both had some good running backs there. Georgia Tech would be a good situation too. Kansas State is kind of the new school of these to the mix. They’ve been there for a while, but the others were there longer. They are a good running team and they have done it for a long time.
“Arizona is a school that has kind of a wide-open offense. They run it and throw it both. Whatever works at the time. Boston College has a good offense and has had some good running backs come from there too.
Fisher, the No. 29 rated running back in America by Rivals.com, has not set up any official visits and doesn’t expect to take any during the season.
“I plan on waiting until we are done this season before taking any visits,” Fisher said. “I hope to take all five of them before making a decision.”
