First two offers for 2013 LB

2013 linebacker Buddy Brown of Williamstown (N.J.) recently took two visits to Big East programs. These visits became very memorable for Brown as he left each school with an offer, his first two, as his recruiting process is off to a quick start.
"Yes sir, I received offers from Rutgers and West Virginia," said Brown, who is 6-foot-2 and 205-pounds.

Both offers came this weekend.
"West Virginia offered me at their spring game on Friday," said Brown. "That really came out of nowhere, because that was the first time I met Coach Casteel. The RU offer came the next day at their spring game. I've been talking to Coach Galiano a lot and I was glad they offered. So overall it was a great weekend. I'm very happy."
Brown shared his thoughts about both schools, first West Virginia.
"West Virginia is a great school," said Brown. "I love how the fans are so connected with the players and how much fun they have."
He also gave his thoughts on his in-state program.
"RU is great also," said Brown. "I love how intense all of the coaches are. Their fans are great there also, but what I really like about them is how their main goal is to get you to graduate."
Also showing serious early interest are Penn State, South Carolina, Virginia and Texas A&M. Up next for Brown is what seems like a busy summer.
"I haven't set any dates yet, but I want to visit South Carolina, Penn State, Rutgers, Virginia, Miami, Texas A&M and TCU to check out their schools," said Brown.
Brown gave a quick rundown of his sophomore season.
"I mostly played outside linebacker last year," said Brown. "Sometimes I would play strong safety, but overall I felt like I helped out the defense a lot and made plays when they needed me to."
