First SEC offer for Morris

Tight end Ryan Morris of Barnegat (N.J.) now has over a dozen offers and received his most recent one from his first SEC program. He also recently took an unofficial visit and has one more scheduled for later this month.
"Recruiting has been great," said Morris, who is 6-foot-6 and 241-pounds. "I've had a lot of good schools come in and I'm up to 13 offers."

Morris gave a little insight on his most recent offer.
"The most recent offer was from South Carolina," said Morris. "I was really excited to get it and it's a school that interests me a lot. Coach Mangus is recruiting me and I like him."
Aside from the 13 schools that have offered, Morris has also been receiving increased interest recently from Iowa, North Carolina and Boston College. He also took a visit a couple of weeks ago.
"My most recent visit was to Syracuse about two weeks ago," said Morris. "The visit went well and Coach Marrone was a really nice guy."
Up next for Morris is a visit to Central Florida on June 20th.
"I just want to get a feel for the campus and the team, as well as the coaches," said Morris.
Morris also discussed the possibility of trimming his list of schools and a possible date for a final decision.
"I just want to feel everything out and see how I stand, but I wanted to commit somewhere in late August or early September," said Morris. "I just want to find a place that I see myself at and fit in well."
