First official for Toal goes well

Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep linebacker Brian Toal took his first official visit this past weekend and it was no surprise that it felt like home.
"Brian was at Boston College and was hosted by his brother, Greg," said Greg Toal Sr., father and head coach of the 6-foot-2, 228-pound star. "He's very comfortable at BC and knows everyone so his official visit went very well. BC is a place he's known about for five years and he feels at home with all the players and coaches."

Next up for Toal is an official visit to Miami this upcoming weekend. After that, who knows?
"He hasn't set any other official visits and I'm not sure if he'll want to take all five," said his father. "It depends on how much traveling he wants to do and how long he wants to wait to decide. Hopefully he can compare BC and Miami and get a really good feel for how the two compare, but what can you really tell in 48 hour when everyone is on their best behavior? That's why it's so nice that he knows BC so well."
Toal finished his senior season with more than 30 touchdowns on offense and 120 tackles on defense in leading his team to another state title. He is also considering official visits to Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Penn State and Tennessee.
