First offer in for 2015 ATH

Indianapolis (Ind.) Warren Central sophomore Mykelti Williams broke onto the scene this time last year when he impressed at the Best of the Midwest Camp as a freshman. A 6-foot, 185-pound athlete prospect, Williams is now seeing his recruiting process take off.
"I received an offer from Indiana a couple weeks ago," Williams reported. "They liked that I worked hard and they could see me in their defensive scheme."

Indiana has been aware of Williams since before his sophomore year started, and the in-state prospect attended the Hoosier's season opener this past fall.
"I had been to the Indiana-ISU game," Williams said. "It was a good game to watch because a former teammate was playing for ISU and I liked to see him play."
Besides Indiana, Williams also reports interest from the likes of Cincinnati, Georgia, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Iowa and Iowa State.
"Right now I am balancing it all out and looking at my options," Williams said. "[Indiana] is something to consider, but I want to see how everything else plays out in the recruiting process."
Indiana and most of the schools showing early interest in the 6-foot, 185-pound Williams project him at the safety position. He did play both safety and running back for Warren Central this past fall.
