First offer for Robinson

Defensive tackle Averee Robinson of Harrisburg (Pa.) Susquehanna Township recently reeled in his first offer after a visit to the school and this spring, the Central PA lineman has hosted a number of East Coast programs as interest levels continue to rise.
"I got my first offer from Temple," said Robinson, who is 6-foot-1 and 265-pounds. "They've been recruiting me since my freshman year, but never pulled the trigger until after they saw my junior highlights."

Robinson shared a few thoughts about the Temple program.
"I think they are a great team that's building something special," said Robinson. "It's also close to home. Temple was definitely on my list of possible schools I hoped would offer me."
Now that he has his first offer behind him, Robinson is hoping for more.
"I think recruiting is going very well," he said. "A lot of coaches are coming to practices and showing lots of interest. I hope to get many more offers in the near future."
Robinson mentioned that Syracuse, Connecticut, Akron and Eastern Michigan are some of the schools that have paid him a visit this spring.
To this point, Robinson's only visit was to Temple to watch a spring practice. He also does not have any further visits or camps confirmed at this time.
Finally, Robinson discussed what he will be looking for in a school when it comes time to make a final decision.
"I just want to be able to get a great education, because I want my life after football to be comfortable," said Robinson.
