First offer for Morrison

Pembroke Pines (Fla.) Pembroke Pines Charter safety Neil Morrison landed his first offer in the past few days.
"Boston College offered me this weekend," Morrison said. "I talked with Sean Desai. He said that they liked my highlight tape and what I can do. He said that they thought I was a real good athlete."

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound prospect could play a variety of positions and on either side of the ball. The Eagles recognize that versatility and are recruiting him as such.
"They are recruiting me as an athlete," Morrison said. "Honestly, I think I could be a running back, strong safety, outside linebacker - I am not really sure. I will line up wherever a team needs me. I just want to play."
At this stage, Morrison doesn't know a great deal about Frank Spaziani's team but he is very high on the academics offered at the Atlantic Coast Conference school.
"I know they offer a great education," Morrison said. "I like that a lot about them, that the education is great there."
He is hoping to make it to campus to learn more about being both a student and an athlete at Boston College.
"I could possibly visit this weekend," Morrison said. "I am trying to go as soon as possible."
Morrison believes that West Virginia is close to offering.
