First offer for 2013 Jersey lineman

Playing amidst all of the North Jersey non-public powers, 2013 offensive lineman Marcell Lazard of Bloomfield (N.J.) is eager to prove that he will be a name to remember over the next year. Lazard is off to a good start with one offer already, and he will look for more in the next month as he attends several summer camps.
"I have one offer from Buffalo and I've been invited to summer camps at Rutgers, Boston College, Notre Dame, UConn, Temple and Syracuse," said Lazard, who is 6-foot-5 and 285-pounds.

Lazard will attend each of these camps, with his first one being this weekend at UConn.
"I'm hoping to show and prove to people what I have to offer," said Lazard. "I want to show everyone that I'm a big guy who can move and is physical."
Aside from Buffalo, Lazard mentioned that Rutgers and Boston College have been pursing him the hardest recently.
"I really like both schools," said Lazard. "Those are the two schools that I really would like to attend."
While preparing for his busy summer camp season, Lazard has also had a chance to further enhance his skills for his junior season.
"This off-season has been great," said Lazard, who played offensive tackle during his sophomore season. "I've gotten bigger, faster and stronger."
