First offer doesnt last long for Texas LB

DeSoto, Texas linebacker Bradley Barree received his first scholarship offer last week and it didn’t take long for him to make his decision.
“Oklahoma State offered me a scholarship the other day when I was there for their three-day camp,” the 6-foot, 225-pound Barree said. “I accepted it on the spot. I just knew it was the place for me. It felt like home.”

The news was greeted with enthusiasm from the Oklahoma State staff.
“They loved it,” he said. “They were pretty excited when I accepted it. It made me more convinced it was the right place to be going.”
While the Cowboys were the only offer for Barree, he did have some other schools expressing interest.
“I also was considering LSU and Oklahoma. I didn’t have any other offers, though.”
Barree will be making a position change this fall.
“I played tight end last year but I will be making the switch to linebacker this year. It is my natural position. That is what Oklahoma State is recruiting me for.”
