"I think Boston College is a great choice. They produce great offensive linemen, great guards and centers. It's a big choice for me. Plus, they are a strong academic school. I plan to go up there for a junior day on the 21st."
Boston College isn't the only school looking at Johnson.
"Other schools I'm staying in touch with are Maryland and Pittsburgh," he stated. "I'm getting mail from Syracuse and Rutgers too."
One school Johnson is hoping to hear more from in the near future is also in the ACC.
"I really want to hear from North Carolina," he said. "I like them because they have the same jersey colors. I also have family down in that area."
With options rising, the Maryland prospect discussed what he wants in a college.
"I'm looking for a school with great team chemistry and good graduation rates. I want them to be up there," he said. "I want a school to push me."
Clearly colleges the Eagles see something in Johnson. What stands out about him as a player?
"What sticks out about me right now is that I try to work as hard as I can," he said. "I want to be on the field.
"I do want to improve. I want to work on my flexibility even more."
