First offer comes for LB Coley

Virginia Beach (Va.) Bayside linebacker Henry Coley landed his first scholarship last week. Who did the 6-foot-2, 230-pounder pull a Division I scholarship from?
"I got it last Monday from Navy," he said. "It's a great relief to get an offer. Hopefully I can get more towards the end of May.

"As for Navy, I'm from a military family. Graduating as an officer with pretty good pay out of college and unimaginable benefits is great."
While Navy has pulled the trigger, a few other schools are looking hard.
"LSU has been by the school, Maryland, East Carolina and North Carolina are supposed to come," he said. "Everyone wants me as a middle linebacker, but my film isn't for that position."
Coley claims to be pretty open at this time and discussed what he wants in a college.
"I'm looking for tradition, a great atmosphere and education is big," he said. "That is one reason Duke is in my top five. I really want a family campus, I want coaches I can trust."
Coley plans to take in at least two camps this summer, June 13th to Maryland and June 20th to Duke.
