First offer comes for 2011 Carolina OT

Offer No. 1 is in for a talented 2011 offensive tackle in North Carolina. The 6-foot-5, 290-pounder pulled the offer from the ACC.
"I got an offer from NC State," Wake Forest (N.C.) Wake Forest-Rolesville offensive tackle Dylan Intemann said. "I think I got it about a month and a half ago when I went up for the NC State/Duke game. That's still my only offer."

What does he think of the scholarship?
"It's definitely a big offer," he said. "NC State is a great school and I'll definitely consider going there.
"The atmosphere is great. I love the fans and everyone supports the team. The coaches and staff are very welcoming and I'd love to play football there."
Despite interest from a number of other schools including Georgia Tech, East Carolina, Georgia and Duke, Intemann hasn't visited anywhere else to date.
Does he like anyone in the early going?
"Georgia Tech is doing really good this year," he said. "As for me, I definitely want a good school with a good education. I have no clue what I want to study. I want the atmosphere to be good wherever I go and to have a good staff. It doesn't necessarily have to be in-state. I have lived in North Carolina my whole life."
Intemann and Wake Forest-Rolesville just wrapped up the regular season where he helped his team to an 11-0 record.
"We're doing really good," he said. "We have the No. 1 seed in the playoffs and I think I'm playing pretty well. I'm having a lot of fun and I'm glad to be apart of the team.
"This is the first year I've started all the games. Last year I started five in the playoffs at tight end."
What sticks out about Intemann as a prospect right now?
"I would say it's the fact I'm real aggressive on run blocking," he said. "I'm pretty good at my pass protection too. I think I have a good kick step.
"However, I still want to work on my speed to get a little faster and improve my first step off the line."
Intemann isn't just a talented football player as he is a star on the track team as well.
"I throw the shot putt and discuss," he said. "Last year I placed first in the discuss in the conference and second in the shot putt. I definitely would pursue it if it's possible."
