First of five begins this week for Hart

Columbia (S.C.) Spring Valley offensive guard and Rivals100 selection Leon Hart has already had a busy few days with in-home visits, but things are about to get even more hectic as he embarks on the first of his five official visits this weekend.
“I’m going up to Ohio State this weekend,” Hart, who is 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, said. “I’ve looked at Ohio State’s academics and depth charts already. What I’m hoping to see when I go up there is what it’s like to be there at the school. I’m going to have a good time and just hang out with the players.”

After Ohio State, Georgia will get a December 12 visit and then he’ll be at Auburn on January 9, South Carolina on January 16 and Virginia on January 23. He said he’s eliminated Clemson and Maryland, even though both schools have been by the house for in-home visits. South Carolina assistants have also been by the house, too.
“It’s tough to tell people no,” Hart said. “But I’d rather be a man about it and tell them that I’m not going to visit their school and not let them linger around waiting on me.”
Hart said he’s heading into his trips with an open mind and without a leader.
“I still have to say that all the schools are about even,” he said. “I think my official visits are going to be when the teams start to jump out.”
Hart is ranked as the nation’s No. 89 player overall and the No. 5 guard by Rivals.com
