More Top Gun Showcase: Rison sets the tone | Day One Photos | Baker living up to nickname
PAISLEY, Fla. - Saturday night was about the introduction to the NFL style of coaching. Players were put through a specific set of agility drills that were position-specific. I hung with running back coach Lorenzo White and his highly talented running back corps.

Barry Every's Day One Running Back Evaluations
Edwin Baker, 5-9, 195, RB Oak Park (MI) Oak Park
Assets: Very quick, with above-average change of direction and very powerful movements.
What was most impressive at camp: Gave 110% on all drills and showed up first at the opening meeting.
On the Hoof:Baker has tremendous biceps and calves that most body builders would desire. Lives up to his nickname back home: "The Rock."
Bryce Brown, 6-0, 205, RB Wichita (KS) Wichita East
Assets: Tremendous size and very, very quick for a big back.
What was most impressive at camp: Really had nice hands during drill work coming out of the backfield.
On the Hoof:Has wide shoulders and a frame that can carry at least 225 pounds and still keep his speed and change of direction.
Christine Michael, 5-11, 190, RB Beaumont (TX) West Brook
Assets: Was the first in line for all the drill work, gave 110% and demonstrated tremendous quickness and change of direction.
What was most impressive at camp: Really encouraged others to work hard and had very soft hands in pass receiving drills.
On the Hoof:Michael has very wide shoulders and veins just popping out of his forearms. He also has a very muscular lower body.
Lache Seastrunk, 5-10, 180, RB Temple (TX) Temple
Assets: Really explosive and I don't think you could hit him with a handful of sand if he was standing in a phone booth.
What was most impressive at camp: Extremely excited to be here and really ready to compete with some of the upperclassmen at the camp.
On the Hoof:One of the smaller backs, but still well defined with legs built like an Olympic sprinter. Also has million-dollar smile.
Chris Whaley, 6-3, 230, RB Madisonville (TX) Madisonville
Assets: Appears to have excellent hand-eye coordination, and good top end speed for a giant back.
What was most impressive at camp: His ability to catch passes out of the backfield was superior to almost anybody I have seen this year.
On the Hoof:I compared him to Eddie George a few weeks back, and he may not be quite as muscular yet, but he is easily the biggest back I have seen. He has wide shoulders and very lean legs.
Cierre Wood, 6-0, 195, RB Santa Clara (CA) Oxnard
Assets: Wood looks like he was shot out of a cannon when he makes his initial burst forward.
What was most impressive at camp: In the hand eye coordination drill with Coach White, he looked like a professional juggler.
