First game kind for Florida two-way star

West Palm Beach (Fla.) Palm Beach Lakes running back/inside linebacker Glenis Thompson started his season off the way a solid Division I prospect should.
"I had 10 tackles, three tackles for a loss, and we won 21-6," Thompson, who is 5-foot-8 and 203 pounds, said.

"They had me playing both at running back and at linebacker. I'm a powerful back, so I had eight carries for 75 yards."
Not a bad start at all.
Thompson does have scholarship offers on the table from FIU and from Akron, but he's yet to hear from any coaches in September.
"I was thinking about committing here this week," Thompson said. "I was thinking about doing it to FIU, but I don't know anymore. I think I want to wait it out and see what other teams offer me after my senior season."
