First FBS offer for Rouse

Defensive end James Rouse is in a better position than a lot of senior prospects because he is already sitting on three offers from schools that are not far from home.
The 6-foot-5, 206-pound prospect from Harrisonburg, Virginia has received offers from James Madison, Richmond and Liberty. His first offer from a Football Bowl Subdivision school may be coming soon.

"Marshall is supposed to offer me when I go up there next week," Rouse said. "That should be the last camp I go to. Our practice is about to start up next week.
"Recently I went to the Virginia Tech camp and I went to Richmond, I think on Saturday. I performed well at both. I ran the 40 in 4.63 seconds at Tech and in 4.65 seconds at Richmond."
Those are good times considering Rouse's frame and helps explain why Marshall may be close to putting an offer out there.
Does he have any favorites at the moment?
"That's tough because all the schools would be really good," he explained. "James Madison is right up the street from where I live, Richmond's not far away and Marshall is Division I. They would all be good."
Rouse said he plans on making his decision sometime during his senior season.
