First BCS offers for Battle

Delray Beach (Fla.) American Heritage defensive back Dominique Battle has picked up three additional scholarship offers, including his first two BCS Conference programs, in recent weeks. He now has a total of five.
"I got offers from Buffalo, Cincinnati and Indiana," Battle said. "I have interest in all three of those schools."

The Bulls, Bearcats and Hoosiers join Army and Florida International in offering the 6-foot, 165-pounder.
Indiana assistant coach Matt Canada is recruiting Battle for the Hoosiers.
"Indiana needs a lot of help at defensive back and I feel that I can help them out," he said. "The Big Ten is one of the top conferences in the country. You get to play against the bigger schools, like Michigan and Ohio State and I like that."
Battle talked about his interest in Buffalo, of the Mid-American Conference.
"With Buffalo, I love their coaching staff," Battle said. "They have great coaches there. They offered me a scholarship last Saturday."
Battle had three interceptions during his junior year.
