First and 10: Top Teammates

American Heritage quarterback Torrance Gibson could decide to play his college football in Big-10 country.
McFadden and Gibson are both dynamic athletes who represent difference makers on each side of the ball for Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage. Defensively, McFadden, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound five-star cornerback, is one of the best lockdown defensive backs in the country. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Gibson, who is listed as a four-star athlete, plays quarterback for American Heritage and can take over a game with his legs or his arm. McFadden appears to be leaning toward either Georgia or Florida State, while Ohio State seems to be the favorite to land Gibson.

WR Calvin Ridley and ATH Shawn Burgess-Becker
Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch
Ridley
The Ridley-Burgess-Becker tandem is one that will extend beyond Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch, where they both are in their seniors. The best friends will continue as teammates at the next level, having both committed to Alabama in April. The five-star Ridley, a 6-foot, 167 pound receiver, makes the game seem easy with his graceful style of play. The four-star Burgess-Becker, listed as an athlete, stands at 6-foot, 194 pounds and will likely play defensive back for the Tide. Both Ridley and Burgess-Becker plan to graduate early and arrive in Tuscaloosa in January.

QB Kyler Murray and OT Gregory Little (2016)
Allen (Texas)
A Texas A&M commit, quarterback Kyler Murray will stay in-state to continue his football career.
The Allen Eagles have a dynamic offense with Kyler Murray under center. He's just as capable of burning you with his legs as his is to uncork a pass to one of his talented receivers. He does a great job of keeping his eyes downfield for his receiving options when he does move around in the pocket and he typically does so without too much harassment. There is no doubt Murray possesses some top notch escapability but it also helps when you have some big hogs up front giving you even more time. 2016 five-star offensive tackle Gregory Little is big part of the equation up front and he is a major reason why Murray does not have to worry much about getting too dirty. Together, they help form one of the strongest offensive units in the country.

QB Josh Rosen and RB Sean McGrew (2016)
Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco
Quarterback Josh Rosen could make an early impact at UCLA, where he is committed to play his college football.
The two showed great chemistry last season when Rosen was a junior and McGrew started as a sophomore. Not only is McGrew an outstanding scat back who can sneak through the smallest hole for big gains, but he's a lethal threat as a pass catcher out of the backfield. That combo helped Bosco to an undefeated season and state championship. This season they're back together and have not missed a beat. Along the way, McGrew has proven once again to be a dual-threat. McGrew said the two read each other's minds and it's believable since they play so well together.

WR Nate Craig (2016) and DE Malik Barrow (2016),
Tampa (Fla.) Catholic
Both Craig and Barrow are 2016 prospects for Tampa Catholic. The five-star Craig is the nation's No. 1 overall player and at 6-foot-2, 198 pounds, is big and physical but can do all the things a slot receiver can. Craig committed to Auburn in July. Barrow is a 6-foot-1, 252-pound four-star defensive end and is currently undecided. He's incredibly strong and athletic and holds more than a dozen offers including Ohio State, Michigan State and Mississippi State.

DB Kevin Toliver II and LB Jeffery Holland
Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian
Kevin Toliver is a five-star corner and also plays quarterback for his high school team.
Toliver and Holland make life miserable for opposing offenses, with Toliver a five-star cornerback and Holland a four-star linebacker. Toliver stands at 6-foot-2, 193 pounds, and is a big, physical, shutdown corner. He's been committed to LSU for two years now. Holland is still mulling his options, which include Auburn, Florida and UCLA. Whichever school lands Holland is getting a 6-foot-1, 225-pound beast of a competitor who is very aggressive at hunting down the ball.

LB Lyndell Wilson (2016) and DE Marlon Davidson (2016)
Montgomery (Ala.) Carver
2016 defensive end Marlon Davidson has strong family connection to Auburn, and an offer from the Tigers.
Both Wilson and Davidson are class of 2016 prospects for Montgomery (Ala.) Carver and both are on the defensive side of the ball, with five-star Wilson being the nation's top linebacker and four-star Davidson the No. 4 defensive end in the country. Both are undecided and appear to want to let the recruiting process play out until late their senior seasons. It's worth noting that the 6-foot-4, 268-pound Davidson has a brother who played at Auburn and that he's been building a strong relationship with the Tigers. The 6-foot-1, 218-pound Wilson holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and Georgia, among others.

9
WR Christian Kirk and ATH Byron Murphy (2016)
Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro
Five-star receiver Christian Kirk's list of favorites includes Texas A&M, Auburn, UCLA, USC, Arizona State and Ohio State.
Kirk is a five-star and an Under Armour All-American and, on Friday nights, he lines up at wide receiver across the field from possibly the state's top junior in Murphy, a two-way player who already holds a number of national scholarship offers. The duo plays both offense and defense for Saguaro, which is currently undefeated and steamrolling its opponents by lopsided scores weekly. Kirk and Murphy are the Sabercats' most dangerous offensive and defensive weapons.

10
QB Brady White and WR Trent Irwin
Newhall (Calif.) Hart
Four-star quarterback Brady White spurned offers from the likes of Oregon and Penn State for Arizona State.
There might not be a better QB/WR combo in the country than White and Irwin because not only do they play high school ball together, but they're on the same powerhouse 7-on-7 team. They have an outstanding connection and seem so comfortable with each other on and off the field, which is why so many people believe Irwin will go to play college ball with White at Arizona State. White is a phenomenal quarterback and Irwin is one of the best pure receivers in the country so putting so much talent - and then adding in the chemistry - makes them a special duo who does damage against almost any defense. - Gorney
