First and 10: Most suspenseful recruitments

In this week's edition of First and 10, the Rivals.com national analyst team breaks down the 10
most suspenseful pending decisions in the 2016 class.

Not only has Davis already committed once -- to South Carolina back in the
summer of 2014 -- but he also had a commitment date set for last month. There
was a ton of conflicting info about where Davis was going to go and as it turned
out, he didn't even know and backed away from his decision. Auburn, Georgia
and Tennessee remain the most likely destinations for Davis. -- Woody Wommack, Southeast analyst

Dexter Lawrence
Wake Forest, N.C.
If somebody tells you they know where Lawrence will end up, they're either
guessing or lying. He has taken official visits to Florida and Clemson and
will be taking an official visit to Ohio State. N.C. State,
North Carolina
and Alabama round out his top contenders but nobody can get a good read on
Lawrence. Most believe Lawrence will stay near home at Clemson, N.C. State or
North Carolina. -- Friedman
ATH
Mecole Hardman Jr.
Bowman (Ga.) Elbert County
The five-star athlete's outgoing personality only feeds into the intrigue
surrounding his recruitment. He isn't shy about talking with the media and has
said favorable things about several schools, including Georgia, Tennessee,
Michigan, Oregon, TCU and several others. This past weekend he was on hand
to watch Alabama's victory over LSU and glowed about the experience. Hardman
has said he's waiting until National Signing Day to announce, and there will be
plenty of twists along the way. -- Wommack
OL
Landon Dickerson
Hudson (N.C.) South Caldwell
Dickerson is a toss-up. Tennessee, Virginia Tech and
Florida State
seem like they've really been ahead of the pack for a while, but Auburn and
Georgia were making a strong push. He just visited Tennessee for its win over
South Carolina and will take official visits to Auburn, Alabama and Georgia. The Hokies might fall down Dickerson's list with Frank Beamer retiring and
he has said in the past that Auburn's and Georgia's seasons have hurt their
chances. -- Friedman

Demetris Robertson
Savannah (Ga.) Christian
Another five-star Georgia athlete who isn't shy when it comes to talking,
Robertson has had various leaders during his recruitment, including Stanford,
Georgia and Alabama, where he was committed for several months. Despite backing
away from the Tide, they are still very much in it, as are the Cardinal and the Dawgs. Robertson's decision should come early next year. -- Wommack
LB
Mique Juarez
Torrance (Calif.) North
The top-rated prospect in California was committed to USC but he reopened his
recruitment when Steve Sarkisian was fired. It is difficult to predict
where Juarez will end up because he hasn't taken any official visits yet, but has
mentioned Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Alabama and some others as possible
destinations. Until he hits the road to figure things out, there's no telling
whether he will love being away from home or if he wants to stay at USC or UCLA. -- Adam

Caleb Kelly
Fresno (Calif.) Clovis West
Kelly has been to Michigan and Oregon so far with trips planned to Oklahoma and
Notre Dame, plus he's still considering a possible fifth official visit. A lot of people think he will eventually land at Oklahoma, but I've heard Michigan and
Oregon will be the schools to beat. It looks like the
five-star linebacker is still weighing all his options and hasn't made any firm
decisions. -- Gorney
TE
Isaac Nauta
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Nauta has been seen as a Georgia lean since breaking his commitment to Florida
State earlier this year. UGA's lead seems to narrow by the day, though. Michigan
has made a strong push to land Nauta and a recent visit to Alabama gave the
five-star tight end even more to consider. Nauta plans to take his final
official visit, a trip to TCU, before announcing his commitment. At this
juncture, Georgia and Michigan seem like the most likely landing spots, but
Alabama is in play as well. -- Rob Cassidy, Southeast analyst
WR
Binjimen Victor
Coconut Creek, Fla.
Victor nearly committed to Florida months ago, but called off his announcement
ceremony because Ohio State and others made a late push. Now it seems the
Buckeyes and Gators are neck and neck in the race to land his commitment. Victor
intends to announce his commitment at January's U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
It's nearly impossible to tell which direction Victor is leaning for the time
being, as either school could be the pick. -- Cassidy
