Finley wants to decide early

A few offers haven't stopped interest from coming from a number of other schools in and out of the state of Texas for 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back Jay Finley of Corsicana, Texas.
Baylor, Louisiana Monroe, and a few Division II schools have sent offers to Finley but schools such as Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and some others appear interested enough to possibly offer as well.

"Most of the other offers I'm waiting on won't probably come until at least after my first game," Finley said. "OSU and Tech have been reminding me that they're going to be watching me this season and they've always been there."
"OSU and Tech could be the next offers I think."
His timetable for a decision is shortening because Finley would like to have his recruitment set on the books before it becomes a distraction.
"I know it will be before the fourth game," Finley said. "I want to go ahead and get it over with because this is it for my senior season. I don't want a big hassle and I don't really care where I go as long as the graduation rate is good and can't benefit me."
Baylor seems to have already peaked his interest in that way.
"I could start faster there than some other programs I think," Finley said. "The academic program is good there and I think I could step in, and really compete early."
