Final 4 for Duncan

With signing day just about here, three-star running back Jela Duncan of Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek is still looking closely at four schools.
"It's between East Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest and North Carolina," Duncan told Rivals.com. "I'd give a slight lead to ECU."

The 5-feet-10, 190-pound Duncan said he had in-home visits with both East Carolina and Wake Forest on Tuesday, and added that "both went very well."
Thus far, he has been on officials to East Carolina and Purdue.
"I liked both, but I liked ECU better," Duncan said. "I felt comfortable when I was up there with the coaches. I felt like I was at home. I was just there this past weekend. I like the coaching staff. I like the weightroom. It's a big weightroom, and I'm a big weightlifting guy. I like everything they had to offer. I like the town, the people, the players - basically all they had to offer. Then, I think it's a good situation for me to come in at."
Duncan will visit Duke this weekend, and both North Carolina and Wake Forest next week. The Duke and Wake Forest trips will be officials. The visit to UNC will be a mid-week unofficial.
According to Duncan, Duke and East Carolina have recruited him the hardest.
"On my official to Duke, I'll see all they have to offer," Duncan said. "I've only been to a couple of games there."
North Carolina only recently offered, but is a school Duncan said he is strongly considering.
"It's a little late," Duncan sad. "It's deep in the recruiting process. I haven't really developed a relationship with Coach [Larry] Fedora and Coach [Gunter] Brewer. But I would love to play with [former Mallard Creek quarterback] Marquise Williams again."
Wake Forest will get the last crack at Duncan before signing day.
"Me and Coach Lonnie Galloway have a great relationship," Duncan said. "I spoke with him [Tuesday]. I was debating whether to take my official visit. I gave him my word earlier this month I would, but I was determining whether to go to UNC. But Coach Galloway was one of the first to offer."
