Fils-Aime grabbing offers with pace

Carlin Fils-Aime's recruitment hasn't just picked up lately. It's sprinted with gusto. In the last week alone, the three-star running back has received offers Alabama, Auburn and South Carolina. The Naples (Fla.) High School running back's offers list offer list stands at 14, and interest in his services doesn't seem to be slowing.
Still riding the recent surge of interest. Fils-Aime's declines to name standouts or tab favorites. Instead, he's locked into the information-gathering stage. It's why his offseason travel plans seem, in a word, aggressive.

"I spoke to my dad, and he's talking about, this summer, going up to North Carolina. We might stop at Gainesville. I'll visit Auburn and Alabama. I'll visit probably Georgia. And N.C. State. We might fly up to see Michigan and Boston College."
All the traveling he plans to do is in the name of research. After he sees the campuses of interested schools in person, Fils-Aime's will have a better handle on which programs are in the running for his commitment.
"I'm keeping all the schools at the same level, he said. "I don't want to decide anything right now. I want to see what happens."
What he does know, however, is what he's looking for in a college. That much has been clear for some time.
"It's about the coaches and how they interact with me," Fils-Aime said. "You know how it is."
Fils-Aime junior season was shortened due to injury. His Naples High team finished the season with a 10-3 record.
