Fields returns from Norman

Paris, Texas cornerback Jordan Fields returned from his second junior day visit to Oklahoma this past weekend after previously visiting Oklahoma State.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder attended with his teammate Keon Furtch and came away impressed with what the Sooners showed.

"The coaches said they were going to come down during the spring with their defensive backs coach," Fields said. "If they do that, they might offer me there. I don't know if they said anything to Keon about an offer either."
The first scholarship offer came from Baylor this past week on Wednesday.
"It felt pretty good to have a school, like Baylor, be my first offer," Fields said. "I think it's a nice school. I really do."
Oklahoma State hosted Fields several weeks ago. He says that it was also a trip that was well-worth the travel time.
"It went good too," Fields said about his trip to OSU. "They just showed us around the campus and we got to watch the basketball game. They told me this spring they're supposed to come down."
Next up for Fields is Texas A&M and the options appear to be wide open.
"I like all of the schools I've been to with Oklahoma State and OU," Fields said. "I'm sure I'll enjoy going to A&M and Baylor too. I'm also looking at Nebraska too.
"I'm wide open right now."
