Duquesne, Pa., star wide receiver and defensive back Elijah Fields said on Sunday night that he still planned to visit Ohio State Jan. 28 before selecting a college. However the visit has been canceled.

"It's down to Penn State and Pitt. West Virginia is pretty much out of it."
Fields made official visits to those three schools, and says he does not intend to visit anyone else.
"Coach Paterno came to my school (Wednesday)," Fields said. "And (Penn State assistant) coach Bradley came to my house. Coach Wannstedt comes out Thursday.
"I'll decide this weekend, then announce on Monday. But I'm not going to do anything real big for my announcement."
The 6-foot-2 and 200-pound Fields caught 52 passes for over 1000 yards during his senior season. He also intercepted 11 passes.
Fields is the No. 23 safety prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 34 prospect in the state of Pennsylvania.
