Fields lines up his first official visit

Houston (Texas) Washington quarterback Joseph Fields had a fairly slow month of September but it has picked up a little this month.
“It is really pretty much still the same,” the 6-foot-1, 214-pound Fields said. “I’ve gotten a few calls already this month too. Michigan, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Syracuse, Houston and Tulsa have called already this month. They are just some of the ones that called in September.”

One of the calls this month led to the first official visit being set up for the three-star signal caller.
I will be taking a visit on Nov. 7 to Syracuse,” he said. “That is my first trip and the only one I have set up so far.”
Despite the Orangemen having a visit scheduled, they aren’t being declared the favorite.
“I don’t have a real favorite. I’m still pretty much wide open. I’m looking forward to seeing the schools in person. I haven’t had a chance to get to any games this fall yet either. So far it has just been on TV.”
Fields has helped lead Washington to a 3-2 record this year.
The season is going good,” he said. “We have some room to improve.”
Fields has rushed for 320 yards and five touchdowns in his first five games. He has also thrown for 850 yards and 10 scores.
