Ferrell is doing his part

Englewood (Colo.) Kent Denver receiver/safety Ian Ferrell is doing all he can to help his team make a nice run to the playoffs with solid play on the field. Two weeks ago, Ferrell, who is 6-foot-5 and 206 pounds, had a 50-yard touchdown reception. He also had a sack, an interception and a fumble recovery.
It's no surprise with those stats that Ferrell is becoming one of the hotter targets in the state of Colorado.

"Dartmouth offered me a spot on their team," Ferrell said.
"They're at the top of my list for sure. Colorado, Colorado State and Princeton are still there. Dartmouth and CSU are the two teams who've offered me."
Ferrell is starting to line up his official visit schedule.
"I'm going to take a visit pretty soon to Dartmouth, I think December 2nd," he said. "I'm not sure about any other visits. Colorado has been calling me every week, so I think they want me to take a visit. I'm not sure yet, though."
When it comes time to make a decision, Ferrell said he's going to pick a school first and foremost for a great education.
"First off I want to go to a place where I can get a good education," he said. "Then the coaches will have a big impact on my decision. I want a coach of good character. I want all my coaches to have good character. The coaches and the education I receive will be the two things I look hardest at in my decision.
"I expect to decide some time in December. That's not concrete, but it's what I'm hoping for right now."
