Ferla cancels trip to Kansas

Waldwick (N.J.) St. Joseph's cornerback Anthony Ferla was scheduled to take his second official visit this weekend to Kansas. The 5-foot-10, 194-pounder with 4.52-second speed cancelled his trip to Lawrence.
"I didn't go to Kansas this weekend because I'm not really interested in them anymore," he said. "I think I primarily want to stay on the East Coast."

So far the three-star prospect has taken one official to Temple and is still waiting for prospective offers from Colorado State and Florida Atlantic.
"I'm going to see what happens with Florida Atlantic and Colorado State," he said. "I'm also still looking at Temple as I like their coaches a lot since they are from Virginia.
"If I don't decide to do any of those, I may go to prep school. I plan to start looking at them the next couple weeks, but I haven't looked into it yet. I'd do that to give myself another year in recruiting, to see what happens."
The No. 25 player in New Jersey accounted for 1,700 yards of offense and 29 touchdowns. He added 30 tackles, four interceptions and two fumble recoveries on defense.
