Fera getting some big looks

Every year another Houston St. Pius X High School prospect emerges from the ranks.
From Ian Symonette (Miami) and Terrance Farmer (Alabama) to Gino Collins (Houston) and Richard Cagle (Vanderbilt), St. Pius has been on a roll as it relates to the business of recruiting.

This year it is a nationally-ranked kicker who is the Panthers' headliner.
A kicker?
Anthony Fera is ranked by Chris Sailer Kicking as a kicker and a punter. The strange thing is that he is a kicker in a linebacker's body. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound kicker has an explosive leg and also doubles as a linebacker.
Fera showed well at LSU's camp last weekend and will be visiting Michigan, Penn State and Ohio State in weeks to come.
"He's been verbally offered by Oregon," father Tony Fera said. "He's also been told that he will be offered by Michigan when he goes to their camp next week. He also really likes Ohio State and Penn State. LSU said they will be recruiting him very hard throughout the process."
