FB commits to Maryland

The Maryland Terrapins received yet another verbal commitment this week as a fullback from Connecticut has pledged his services.
"Asaph committed to Maryland today," said Andrew Schwapp, the older brother of 6-foot-0, 239-pound Asaph Schwapp. "He just got back from Boston College camp yesterday and was told he had an offer from Maryland so he jumped on it."

Schwapp, one of the strongest players in New England, chose the Terps over interest from BC, UConn, Penn State and Wisconsin. Although he can play linebacker, he'll most likely be a fullback for the Terps.
"Asaph is big and strong, one of the strongest kids around," said his brother. "He really liked Maryland when he was down there and felt at home. They're a top team in a great conference."
