Favorite extends offer to Allen

Denver (Colo.) Thomas Jefferson has a pair of Division I prospects that are starting to see the attention pick up.
Coach Dan Turnbull says that both his star players defensive end Pierre Allen and athlete Korey Askew have always been closing in on offers. Now Allen has one from his favorite team.

"Syracuse just offered Allen recently," Turnbull said. "He's not committed or anything yet but it's his first which is big."
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Askew is also apparently close to getting his first offer to break the ice.
"Yeah Wyoming is close on Korey too," Turnbull said. "That's where those guys are at from this point but they're still open."
Both Allen and Askew are also receiving interest from a number of Big 12 and Midwest schools as well.
The 6-foot-5, 215-pound Allen plays on offense at the wide receiver position as well as on the defensive line for Jefferson.
