Faulkner sold on Hoosiers

Hamilton Heights, Ind., offensive lineman Cody Faulkner recently committed to the Indiana Hoosiers. It was easy to tell why listening to Faulkner talk over the weekend.

"Indiana is close to home. The coaching staff is amazing. Now that coach Hoeppner is there I think he is going to turn the program around. It was a pretty easy decision."
The 6-foot-4 and 315-pound Faulkner also had scholarship offers from Wisconsin, Northwestern, Ball State, and Miami of Ohio among others.
Faulkner is starting at tackle on both sides of the ball during his senior season. He could play guard or tackle in college.
Faulkner has graded out at 93% blocking efficiency and averages 12 'pancake' blocks per game through the first seven games of his senior season.
Faulkner is the No. 47 offensive guard prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 5 prospect in the state of Indiana.
