FAU lands two-star cornerback

Recently, Fort Meade (Fla.) High School cornerback Treon Howard named Florida Atlantic his leader over offers from Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Iowa State and others. His enthusiasm for the program was bolstered by a great official visit and now he has decided that he is ready to make a commitment.
On Monday, Howard made his decision official.

"I actually made the decision last Saturday," Howard said. "But I wanted to sit on it for a few days to make sure and to talk about it with my friends and family."
The decision came on the heels of an official visit that went so well that Howard didn't even want to leave campus at the end of the weekend.
"The players really made me feel at home," he said. "I didn't even want to go home. It's a great opportunity for me and I love the facilities."
Howard was named 2nd Team All-State as a senior.
