FAU commit to visit Marshall

Two-star linebacker James King of Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington said Florida Atlantic is "safe for now" when it comes to his verbal commitment to the Owls.
"I like that it's close to home and the connection I have with the coaching staff," the 6-foot-2, 200-pound King said. "I've been talking to them for awhile since I got here at Booker T. as a sophomore. I talk to them every day. They tell me to come in and work hard and once I do that I can be able to start. That's my goal."

King committed to the Owls in June shortly before attending FAU camp. He's been there four time sin all and plans on taking an official visit there, but he's not sure when.
King said he does have an official visit to Marshall planned for Oct. 25.
"They have a chance," King said when asked if they could reopen his recruitment process. "They keep in contact with me a lot and they really want me to come up there."
When asked what it would take for King to reopen his recruitment process, he said "more playing time and a better connection with coaches."
King finished last season with 110 tackles and 4 forced fumbles.
