Fast rising TE racks up offers

If there is a tight end climbing the charts any faster in the western region than Ryan Deehan (6-5, 230, 4.72) from Poway, Calif., we would like to know who is.
After a terrific NIKE Camp, Deehan has seen his stock rise and there is no indication that it will slow down anytime soon.

At the moment Deehan has official offers from Arizona State, Cal, Oregon, UCLA, San Diego State, Boise State, Maryland, Colorado and Texas A&M.
"There are a lot schools such at Colorado State and Washington State who would offer Ryan if he was interested in them," Poway coach Damian Gonzalez said. "It's the same way with TCU.
"A lot of schools think they don't have a chance because of the colleges that are recruiting him."
"Ryan dedicates himself completely to the game," Gonzalez said. "Not only on the field, but in the weight room, too. He knows what it takes to compete for his senior season and for the next level.
"Ryan has tremendously soft hands and run exceptionally well for a 6-foot-5 tight end," Gonzalez said. "Blocking is an area where Ryan needs to improve and he has the work ethic to do just that.
"Ryan has gained 30 pounds since January and he hasn't lost a step," Gonzalez said. "Actually he has gotten faster.
"At the moment, Ryan, is very interested in UCLA, ASU and Colorado, because he has developed relationships with their coaches."
USC has also shown interest in Deehan and have even been on the campus twice. He scheduled to go to their camp so they can get a final evaluation on him.
There is a good chance that Deehan will attend Arizona State's one day camp this coming weekend and then will follow that up with UCLA's one day camp to be held on June 9th. USC's camp will be held on June 22nd and June 23rd.
Deehan earned all-CIF San Diego Section and second-team all-state underclass as a junior after accounting for 51 receptions for 840 yards and five touchdowns.
