School: Claremont, Calif.

Position: Outside Linebacker/Strong Safety
Size and Speed: Cook stands 6-foot-3, weighs 195 pounds and runs the 40 in 4.6.
Honors: As a junior Cook was selected first-team all-CIF, all-area and all-league. As a sophomore, Cook was all-league as a safety.
Statistics: Cook accounted for 127 tackles and eight sacks.
Favorite Colleges: Cook already has official offers from Colorado, Kansas and UConn. He is being recruited by the likes of UCLA, USC, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Texas and Wake Forest. No clear-cut favorites at this time.
Skinny: Cook plays sideline-to-sideline and never gives up on a play. He has excellent vision and finds the football. Cook has tremendous quickness and closing speed. Another thing that tape tells you is he is very hard to block as he seems to go untouched to the football.
Cook is a smart and patient football player who is a terrific tackler and a lethal hitter. He’s a big playmaker who blows the offense up. Cook is the type of linebacker you love to have on your football team because he always end up where the football is.
“Isaiah is a phenomenal football player,” Claremont head coach Mike Collins said. “He compares to Zach Kaufman (Michigan) who had here a couple of years ago.”
“Isaiah is such a special athlete that we may play him at quarterback this season,” Collins said. “He does it all.”
Cook is also a tremendous special teams player who can change the momentum of the game by blocking punts and kicks.
