Farrell updates his recruitment

Last month offensive tackle Mike Farrell out of Pittsburgh (Pa.) Shady Side Academy landed his first scholarship offer. What has transpired since then for the 6-foot-5, 285-pounder and what's next?
"Besides Miami (Ohio), schools that are calling me regularly are Marshall, Penn State, Toledo and Kent State," he stated. "Some of them want me to make trips to games, while others want me to send film."

Farrell is starting to look at visits in the near future.
"I may go to Penn State the next few weeks," he said. "I'm also looking at Pittsburgh and Connecticut. I might take a trip to Miami (Ohio) too to see a game at the end of the season, probably Akron (November 14th)."
The Keystone State lineman currently has no favorites.
On the season, Farrell has helped his team to a 2-1 record.
"I've been playing well," he said. "I'm going both ways and have a sack on defense.
"I think I picked up where I left off at last year. I'm getting better and I still want to work on my strength because I think I have the height and footwork."
