1. Scott Frost is wrong about Luke McCaffrey.
FARRELL'S TAKE: FICTION.
You might have seen the Nebraska head coach be a bit critical of transfer Luke McCaffrey when asked about his decision to transfer to Louisville only to leave after a few days to transfer again to Rice. Frost essentially said that McCaffrey and others are getting bad advice and he’s right. It may be hypocritical of the head coach who himself transferred as a player to say so, but for a player like McCaffrey with so many experienced football people in his corner to wait until he arrived at Louisville to figure out he wouldn’t start is just bad due diligence. His brothers can tweet all they want but he clearly didn’t think this through.

2. Arizona State is the only program to break recruiting rules during COVID.
FARRELL'S TAKE: FICTION.
Arizona State is in deep trouble with the NCAA after being outed for hosting recruiting during the dead period due to COVID but let’s be real — the Sun Devils can’t be the only ones. There were so many visit weekends at many other schools that were “organized” by recruits that someone else had to have done the same thing and I think we will see the receipts of those as well.

3. Alabama is too young to win it all next season.
FARRELL'S TAKE: FICTION.
Alabama loses experienced leadership at nearly every position but it doesn’t matter. The Crimson Tide still have the best talent in the country and first-rounders at offensive tackle, linebacker, in the secondary and possibly at wide receiver and running back. There will be no issue with youth under Nick Saban, it just depends on if there's a team out there that is more talented. I’m not sure there is.
