Fabian Martin commits to Illinois

"I committed to Illinois today," wide receiver Fabian Martin said. "Purdue was my second choice."
"The first reason I committed to Illinois was the academics. The academics there are amazing."
"I believe in coach Turner and the rest of the staff. They can develop my skills and prepare me for the next level."
"And when I visited Illinois everybody seemed real close."
The 5-foot-11 and 175 pounder from Chicago (Ill.) Prosser caught 52 passes for 785 yards and averaged 15.1 per reception during his junior season. Martin was an all-conference and all-city selection.
Martin is the number 30 wide receiver prospect and is ranked as a three star prospect. Purdue, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Iowa also offered Martin a scholarship.
