Faaeteete to Cal
Four-star athlete prospect Sekeli Faaeteete (6-1, 212, 4.49) from San Leandro, Calif., is no longer committed to USC and has committed to the red hot Cal Bears and he will take his official visit this weekend (Jan. 30).
“Sekeli committed to Cal,” Faaeteete’s father Ray Mendoza said.

“They are a class act. When Coach (Jeff) Tedford heard what happened to Sekeli, he and six assistants came to the door and offered him a scholarship and Sekeli accepted.”
Last Sunday evening USC called and pulled his scholarship. The reason being according to the family member was Faaeteete’s hamstring injury.
According to Faaeteete's family, the caller representing the Trojan explained that USC has been burned by a lot of injuries and they took Faaeteete’s scholarship away from him.
