SAN ANTONIO -- Several of the nation's best recruits from the 2025 and 2026 classes are on hand competing in the 2025 Navy All-American Bowl.
Signees from Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Auburn, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, SMU, and more are represented. There's also an elite group of prospects from the 2026 recruiting cycle as the Navy All-American Bowl includes underclassmen for the first time.
Rivals National Recruiting Analyst Sam Spiegelman was on-site for Day 3 of the Navy All-American Bowl practices as both the East and West teams worked inside of the Alamodome ahead of Saturday's game.
Here are eye-catchers and rankings implications from Day 3 of practice:
JAIME FFRENCH, FIVE-STAR TEXAS WR SIGNEEÂ
Jaime Ffrench continues to set himself apart as one of the more polished pass-catchers in this loaded 2025 class. The future Longhorn has an enormous catch radius and sure hands, and has come up with some acrobatic grabs and tough combat catches throughout the week in San Antonio. Ffrench has been steadily good against top competition during Navy AAB competition and is one of the blue-chip receivers we believe has the highest floor.
CORTEZ MILLS, FOUR-STAR NEBRASKA WR SIGNEE
Cortez Mills has turned in a big week in San Antonio as one of the best pass-catchers at a loaded position group. The Nebraska signee has elite hands and has made several impressive grabs despite good coverage. Mills has been especially good separating downfield and operating in tight spaces. The four-star WR from South Florida has been equally as good adjusting to the football and making tough catches in traffic.
AARON GREGORY, FOUR-STAR TEXAS A&M WR COMMIT (2026)
Aaron Gregory is one of the crown jewels of Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class, which has star power to contender for the top spot in the Rivals Team Rankings. Gregory has phenomenal hands and has come down with some eye-popping wow receptions throughout the Navy AAB week. The future Aggie is long and is a smooth operator. He's been excellent adjusting to the football and showing off his ups and catch radius. He's continuing to separate himself at the position.
JALEN COOPER, FOUR-STAR SMU WR SIGNEE
Jalen Cooper has been a regular top performer during AAB Week and that trend continued into Day 3. Cooper has been stretching the field vertically and has also dynamic with the ball in his hands. At 6-foot-2 and almost 180 pounds, the four-star SMU signee moves seamlessly running his routes and getting in and out of his breaks. The future Pony has breakaway speed to separate downfield and from a crowd. After a storied run at Cibolo (Texas) Steele, Cooper has asserted himself among the best in a loaded position group in San Antonio.
DAVIAN GROCE, FOUR-STAR APB (2026)
Davian Groce has been absolutely stellar throughout the week in San Antonio as one of the most explosive offensive players seeing snaps in the backfield and wide receiver during Thursday's workouts. The 2026 four-star APB has fantastic hips and can turn and run with authority. Groce is absolutely dangerous with the ball in his hands and is as dangerous running the rock as he is as a receiver. At 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, Groce has sure hands and separated at a high clip with several big splash plays downfield. He's a problem for opposing defensive coordinators and has been showing out during the AAB.
TALYN TAYLOR, FOUR-STAR GEORGIA WR SIGNEE
Talyn Taylor has been an eye-catcher since arriving in San Antonio and turned in a very impressive Day 3. The Georgia signee out of Illinois is an explosive route-runner that moves at a different speed. Taylor is slim but plays big -- with the ability to get open easily and get up and attack the football at 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds. The four-star WR made plays downfield and multiple levels of the field playing largely from the slot.
TYLER ATKINSON, FIVE-STAR LB (2026)
Tyler Atkinson has been fantastic with his Swiss Army Knife skill-set at linebacker during Navy AAB week. The five-star LB from Georgia has been sound in coverage and impactful providing a pass rush from the edge and the second level on occasion. Atkinson is bendy and explosive -- with outstanding speed to cover sideline to sideline as well as run with pass-catchers in coverage. He's flashed in multiple facets after a brilliant junior campaign and earning several All-American honors along the way.
KALIQ LOCKETT, FOUR-STAR TEXAS WR SIGNEE
Kaliq Lockett has been tearing up the week in San Antonio as etching himself as one of the elite pass-catchers in this 2025 cycle. The four-star Texas signee from Sachse (Texas) High School is twitchy and moves downfield speed at a different pace. Lockett's route-running has been second to none -- he's been explosive in and out of his breaks, superb at creating space, with suddenness and plus-acceleration. At 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, Lockett has been dangerous working downfield and outside the numbers. The future Longhorn is a true playmaker with WR1 ability.
JORDAN CLAY, FOUR-STAR WR (2026)
Jordan Clay has been playing like an All-American as a 2026 recruit all week in his hometown of San Antonio. The 6-foot-4, 200-plus pounder is the No. 72 overall recruit in the 2026 Rivals250 is mismatch working outside the numbers. Clay moves well navigating downfield and operating at different levels of the field. With his size and range, he's hard to miss and is a threat to extend plays after the catch. Clay also boasts plus ball skills and is a detailed route-runner.
DEVIN CARTER, FOUR-STAR WR (2026)
Devin Carter has been among the top receivers in a loaded position group during the week in San Antonio. The No. 32 overall player in the Rivals250 for the 2026 class, Carter has a smoothness to his game and has been impressive flashing his catch radius and hands making big catches downfield again on Thursday. He's also been dangerous working underneath and in space with his blend of quickness and straight-line speed. On Thursday, he came through several more contested catches during the live portion.
