Exum recaps trip to Georgia

A pair of prospects from Glen Allen (Va.) Deep run made the trip to Athens, Georgia over the weekend to take in the Bulldogs game against Tennessee. One was current Georgia commit Jordan Love.
Love was accompanied by three-star athlete Antone Exum, a 6-foot, 198-pound prospect currently rated the No. 14 senior in Virginia's Class of 2009. Exum does not currently hold an offer from Georgia but Mark Richt and his staff have been showing interest.

What did Exum think about his experience between the hedges?
"I liked it a lot," he explained. "I went down there with Jordan Love, who is already committed to them. I liked the atmosphere a lot. The trip was mostly for Jordan but Coach (Tony) Ball wanted to make sure I came down too.
"I talked to Coach Ball a little bit and I talked to Coach Richt some. They just told me they were going to look at my highlight film again and go from there. They want me to send them more film."
It was just an unofficial visit for Exum, but it was enough to solidify his interest in Georgia. He said he does not currently have any formal plans to take any other visits, though he does know of two schools he wants to take trips to.
"Right now I know I'm going to take official visits to Virginia Tech and Penn State. I wouldn't say they're favorites or at the top of my list, I'm just saying I'm going to visit because I have a good relationship with the coaches there. They've probably been recruiting me for the longest.
"Of all the schools that have offered I think I'm still looking at about 14 of them. I haven't canceled too many schools out. I don't have a time frame or anything. Right now I'm really just focused on my season. Recruiting is kind of on the back burner."
