Excited McBath makes college pick
Gainesville, Texas, three-star cornerback Darcel McBath couldn’t hide his excitement. After a wild ride that saw him visit three schools in less than three weeks, McBath has made up his mind.
“I called Texas Tech today and told them that I’m committing to them,” McBath, who is 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, said.

“Yes, it’s true. I am going to Texas Tech.”
McBath committed to Tech over Oklahoma State and Texas A&M.
He was supposed to visit Notre Dame also this week, but decided to end the process earlier today when he informed the Red Raider coaches that he was heading to Lubbock.
McBath said he would be available for futher comment later this afternoon.
