Evridge considering options

Papillion (Neb.) LaVista quarterback Allan Evridge just returned from his second official visit since making his verbal commitment to Nebraska.
“The visit went really well,” Evridge’s father, James, said. “We had a good time. We met with the other recruits there. They seemed like a lot of good kids.”

The trip to Manhattan was not the first for the Evridge family.
“We had been there during the summer once and this fall for their game against Marshall,” the elder Evridge said. “Everything was the same. They have a fantastic program. Winning the Big 12 or not winning it would not have changed what we thought of Kansas State.”
As for a final decision, that time will come.
“Right now we are just considering our options” Evridge said. “Things changed drastically when they fired Coach Solich. We were looking at taking an official visit to Kansas State before they fired him. So, the firing, just sped the process up.
“We are planning on one to Lincoln. We might go down this week and watch practice. We live close to them, so we can go by there easily. We’d like to get a decision soon.
But is soon now, or before Chrsitmas? Either would be great.”
