Everson focused on ACC

Detroit Mumford four-star athlete Cedric Everson is one of the most dynamic players in the Midwest.
College coaches can see him playing all over the field and with his 5-foot-11, 154-pound frame, his game is definitely all about speed and explosiveness. And if things were to end today, it looks like he'd be taking that big-time game to the ACC.

"My top teams are Georgia Tech, UCLA, Iowa and Penn State, but Georgia Tech is above everybody else," Everson, the No. 7 player in Michigan, said.
"I actually just got done talking to Georgia Tech a little bit ago. They just said they want me, and that I'm an excellent player and I can cover really well.
"My favorite coach is Chan Gailey. I really like him."
Everson has an impressive list of offers from teams like Georgia Tech, Penn State, UCLA, Florida State, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota and he just added a new offer from Miami the other day.
This summer, Everson said he camped at Georgia Tech, which explains his even bigger love for the Yellow Jackets.
"They really loved me at Georgia Tech, I'm still supposed to go to UCLA and USC," Everson said.
But with the season rapidly approaching the time he has free to make a visit to LA is rapidly decreasing. And that means his timetable for a decision is also rapidly approaching.
"I'd like to commit after our first game of the season," he said.
"Over anything else, I want to get a good education. I want to major in sports management. My family won't play any role in my decision. They want me to make my own decision. I'm being recruited as an athlete.
"All the schools are recruiting me as a receiver and a corner."
