Even more offers for Murphy

Kyle Murphy has landed so many major offers that it's hard for the San Clemente, Calif., offensive tackle to keep track and now he can add Miami, Alabama and Oklahoma to an incredibly impressive offer list.
Murphy, arguably the top offensive lineman at the Stanford NIKE Camp two weekends ago, said he plans to start narrowing down his list this summer to a much more manageable level - maybe five or six schools and then probably take some official visits in the fall.

"I think by summer I will get to five or six top schools," Murphy said.
"I will probably do a couple official visits but I'll probably wait to make a decision until after the season unless I find exactly where I want to be."
USC, Oregon and Stanford have been rumored to be some early favorites for Murphy, a four-star prospect who's rated No. 28 in the 2012 class by Rivals.com, but he did not confirm nor deny that chatter after the Stanford NIKE Camp.
Murphy, a 6-foot-7, 275-pound recruit, said he's basically open to all programs and is willing to consider every option moving forward until he cuts down his list.
As far as visits go over the summer and the fall, Murphy said he's still not sure where he's headed but some trips could be to schools not on the West Coast since he's pretty familiar with those programs already.
Murphy has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and many teams not close to home but it's still too soon to figure where he might visit.
New offers are coming in all the time but soon Murphy will narrow his list and he plans to take his time with recruiting. Through all this, he continues to work on being the best offensive tackle he can be - and he could be one of the best in the entire 2012 class.
"All the (rankings are) not that big of a deal because it's just people's opinions of me," Murphy said. "I'm just trying to be the best I can be and take all the coaching and learn from it."
