Even more offers for Anunike

It's been a busy few days for Lewis Center (Ohio) Olentangy High School tight end/defensive end Kenny Anunike.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder already had scholarship offers from Air Force, Miami University and Indiana. But after a great performance at the Elite Skills Camp on Tuesday, he's now added even more schools to his offer list.

"I got some new offers on Thursday," Anunike said. "We had the coaches come by from Indiana, and they made it clear that they had offered me. Then Akron came in and they offered me also. Pittsburgh was also there, and they put an offer on the table, too. Oh yeah, I almost forget about the offers from Toledo and Eastern Michigan."
Anunike said it was definitely a busy day at school on Thursday.
"Illinois was there, but they didn't offer me yet," he said. "They just want to watch me a little more. Purdue, Iowa, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Eastern Michigan and Michigan State. Stanford wants me to get down there for an unofficial visit. They're really liking me, and what's not to like about them."
Anunike said his top eight at this point would be Duke, Miami, Stanford, Indiana, Northwestern, Michigan State, Iowa and Harvard. With his father professor in architecture and with a PHD, he is grateful for his father's encouragement and pushing him to stay on the books.
"I have to thank my dad," Anunike said.
"He's helped me get to this point. He kept telling me to stay focused on the books and it'll give me a lot of opportunities. But I never thought it would get me this many. This is great."
